Please be advised that the US Government is poised to put new taxes on Chinese origin goods.
This tax does not impact Canadian companies directly; however, it will increase the costs of Chinese origin products being purchased out of the United States.
You may want to discuss with your suppliers if this impacts you and possibly look into sourcing or shipping directly from China.
For our American clients, it is important to note that there will be a significant quantity of products that are going to be impacted by the Chinese tariffs.
We are sending out this notice because the product range covered is very broad and can impact all industries.
The tariffs will come into effect on September 24th, 2018 at 10% and will increase by 25% on January 1st, 2019.
