Border Brokers is now a certified participant in Canada Border Services Agency’s Partners in
Protection (PIP) program.
Adding to our existing membership in the U.S. CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against
Terrorism) program.
Partners in Protection is a voluntary program that helps Canadian businesses protect their
supply chains from security threats. It’s a joint effort between the Canadian government and the
private sector to ensure that the goods and services we produce are safe and secure.
The program provides businesses with access to training, resources, and tools to help them
protect their supply chains from threats such as terrorism, organized crime, and cyber-attacks.
PIP also helps businesses develop security plans and procedures, and provides them with
access to a network of experts who can provide advice and guidance on security issues.
There are many benefits to becoming a member of PIP, for example, lower examination rates at
the border, market your company as a “Trusted Trader” and more. It’s a great way to help
businesses stay ahead of the curve when it comes to security threats.
